Newport Vessels NK180 Pro Rudder Foil

The NK180 Foil works with both the original NK180 and new NK180 Pro.  It is engineered to improve steering response, stability, and overall control of the Newport NK180 Pro. Made from durable ASA, this foil also helps reduce cavitation for smoother and more efficient performance.

Unlike other foils, this design installs quickly and easily—no need to remove the Anderson plug or factory steering triangle. The two-piece construction allows effortless attachment directly to the motor.

⚠️ Important Note

The stock Newport collar is required for proper installation.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Position the Foil

• Place the two foil halves around the NK180 motor.
• Align all mounting holes between both pieces.

Step 2: Install the Hardware

• Insert the nuts into their molded slots.
• Using an Allen key, thread the two screws through the mounting holes.
• Tighten until secure—do not over-tighten.

Step 3: Slide Down the Stock Collar

• After the foil is installed, slide the stock Newport shaft collar down the shaft until it rests firmly on top of the foil.
• This locks the foil in place and prevents it from sliding up during use.
