Newport Vessels Carbon Fiber Motor Lift Arm (HD Motors) — Style
Newport Vessels Carbon Fiber Motor Steering Triangle (HD Motors) — Style

Only compatible with the NK "HD" motors (NK 180 HD and NK 300 HD).

Designed for the Newport Vessels NK Series (NK300 HD, NK180 HD), this Carbon Fiber Steering Triangle and Lift Arm is a durable and attractive upgrade for your kayak motor.

Crafted from 5mm thick glossy carbon fiber, both the steering triangle and lift arm are CNC-machined for exceptional strength and a premium look. The improved lift arm geometry is designed to prevent the motor from rotating while lifting. The steering triangle mounts directly on top of the stock Newport Vessels steering triangle (screws included) and features an extra steering hole for better steering cable positioning, keeping them farther from the motor mount knobs.

What’s Included in the Kit?

1 x Carbon Fiber Steering Triangle
1 x Carbon Fiber Lift Arm
1 x Carbon Fiber ASA Adapter
2 x 304 Stainless Steel M6 Screws & Locking Nuts

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Remove the Stock Lift Arm

  • Ensure the stock steering triangle is securely attached to the motor.
  • Remove the screws securing the stock lift arm to the steering triangle.

Step 2: Install the Carbon Fiber Lift Arm

  • Place the plastic adapter into the stock steering triangle where the original lift arm was installed.
  • Insert the carbon fiber lift arm into the adapter.
  • Reinstall the factory hardware and tighten all fasteners securely.

Step 3: Install the Carbon Fiber Steering Triangle

  • Position the carbon fiber steering triangle on the bottom of the stock steering triangle.
  • Install the two supplied M6 screws through the front (bow-side) mounting holes, but do not fully tighten them.

Step 4: Secure the Steering Triangle

  • Slide the carbon fiber steering triangle as far forward as possible.
  • Install the remaining mounting hardware using the supplied locking nut.
  • Fully tighten all hardware. Positioning the triangle fully forward provides additional support for the rear (stern-side) of the lift arm.

⚠️ Important Note:

🚨 The stock Newport Vessels HD steering triangle is required for installation and is not included.
