Designed for the Newport Vessels NK Series motors (NK180, NK180PRO, NK300) using the newer motor mount (see photo), the Steering Line Guide helps align the steering cables with the motor mount and steering triangle. This improved alignment prevents the steering cables from getting caught in the motor mount knobs, ensuring smooth and efficient steering.

Crafted from a Carbon Fiber ASA blend, this 3D-printed guide is durable and built to withstand harsh outdoor environments. It attaches easily using the existing holes on the front of the NK motor mount.

The Steering Line Guide accommodates steering lines less than 5mm in diameter, and it is recommended to use 3/16" nylon tubing to run the lines to your hand or foot steering solution.

What’s Included?

2 x Carbon Fiber ASA Steering Line Guides
2 x 304 Stainless Steel M6 Screws & Hex Nuts

It a nice product I wish the holes were bigger for the tubing to go into I drilled holes one size bigger so I could have a bigger tubing for thick rope to go through then supper glued tubing into guide

Thanks for the feedback, Mark!
We designed it around the 3/16' tubing/cordage, which is the same cordage and tubing we sell and that's used in Native/Bonafide kayaks. We will look into making an option with larger holes to accommodate those that run larger tubing.
