This was the perfect addition for my dyi trolling motor install. Finding a way to accurately tilt and lock up the motor was a real hassle till I found this.

Love the product works great I should have purchased two.
These track mounts work terrific with the NK 300 motor set up. I have one on each side of the track in front of my seat mount and I never have to look around to find the motor lift cord or the reverse lock cord. Moreover, I additionally purchased Chris’s extra 2handles that fit in these mounts and have the motor lift cord fitted with three handles.
1) is for the motor completely down running on the lake
2) is for the motor partially up for shallow water and
3) is for the motor completely up, for example, launching or retrieving the kayak from the ramp.
Having the cord preset with these three possessions makes it very easy to have the motor exactly where you want it when you’re on the fly and distracted by other activities on the water.
The Newport handles pop right in and holds strong! Awesome product!
