So far after a.couple.tourneys the arm is holding up perfectly fine and seems to have less noise from vibration than my stainless one I was using before. I am still a little skeptical on the add on triangle to the stock plastic one. Time will tell.

In the world of Newports Vessels horrible engineering and flawed steering triangles and lift arms its refreshing to find sk.ekne who's a problem solver. BBCs components solves these problems. Nothing can solve Newports failures on clamping.. but this is spectacular

I recently purchased a couple of Newport Vessels, Carbon Fiber Motor Steering, and Lift Arm Kits. The quality of these products was as expected and very durable. The angle on the lift arm really helps to reduce stress while raising my NK 300 motor, which over time caused the original Newport Vessels factory lift arm to bend to the side. Furthermore, the motor steering brace is a necessity and reinforces the original factory sterring triangle, which has a tendency to crack or break over time. The fact is that this corbon fiber material is much stronger than the factory parts included with my NK 300 motor. The strength of this material and quality of the design gives me better peace of mind while on the water in my kayak. Thank you to Big Bass Chris Designs for designing and creating these parts.
