⚠️ PRODUCT SAFETY WARNINGS

HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

Our weed cutter products contain sharp cutting blades designed to cut through aquatic vegetation. These blades protrude approximately 5-8mm from the housing and present a potential laceration hazard if improperly handled.

REQUIRED SAFETY PRACTICES

Before Installation or Maintenance:

  • ALWAYS disconnect motor battery completely
  • Remove motor from water
  • Ensure stable, secure work surface
  • Use appropriate tools

During Use:

  • Keep hands and body parts clear of blade area at all times
  • Never reach toward blades while motor is connected to power
  • Do not operate in areas with swimmers or heavy boat traffic
  • Start motor slowly when operating in vegetation
  • Stop immediately if unusual vibration, noise, or resistance occurs

Storage & Transport:

  • Always use included blade protector
  • Store in secure location away from children
  • Disconnect from motor during extended storage

Maintenance:

  • Inspect blades before each use
  • Replace blades if dull, chipped, cracked, or damaged
  • Check mounting hardware for tightness
  • Clean after each use to prevent corrosion

WHO SHOULD NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

This product is NOT suitable for:

  • Persons under 18 years of age
  • Anyone unfamiliar with trolling motor operation
  • Anyone uncomfortable performing mechanical installation
  • Use in swimming areas or crowded waterways

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

TERMS OF SALE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing products from Big Bass Chris Designs, LLC ("Company"), you ("Purchaser") agree to be bound by these Terms of Sale. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our products.

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We strive to provide accurate descriptions, specifications, and images. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or images are error-free, complete, or current. Products may vary slightly from photographs or descriptions.

3. AS-IS SALE / NO WARRANTIES

ALL PRODUCTS ARE SOLD "AS-IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

Company makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Quality, durability, or reliability

Company does not warrant that products will be error-free or will meet your expectations.

4. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Purchaser assumes all risk associated with:

  • Product installation
  • Product operation and use
  • Maintenance and storage
  • Any modification or alteration of products
  • Interaction with other equipment
  • Environmental conditions

Purchaser is solely responsible for determining the suitability of products for their intended use.

5. PURCHASER RESPONSIBILITIES

By purchasing, Purchaser agrees to:

  • Read and follow all safety warnings and instructions
  • Use products only as intended
  • Properly install and maintain products
  • Inspect products before each use
  • Not use damaged or worn products
  • Keep products away from minors
  • Not modify or alter products

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use products
  • Product defects or failures
  • Personal injuries or property damage
  • Installation errors or difficulties
  • Interaction with other equipment

Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy is return of the purchase price paid.

Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by Purchaser for the product.

7. INDEMNIFICATION

Purchaser agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Company, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

  • Purchaser's use or misuse of products
  • Failure to follow instructions or safety warnings
  • Modifications or alterations to products
  • Resale or distribution of products
  • Injuries to third parties

8. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

Purchaser is responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding:

  • Product use
  • Watercraft operation
  • Environmental regulations
  • Safety requirements

9. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Unopened products with blade protectors intact may be returned within 30 days of purchase for refund of purchase price (minus shipping).

No returns accepted for:

  • Products with blade protectors removed
  • Used or installed products
  • Damaged products (except shipping damage reported within 48 hours)

10. NO RESALE WARRANTY

If Purchaser resells products, Purchaser warrants that they will:

  • Provide all original warnings and instructions to end users
  • Not make claims or warranties on behalf of Company
  • Assume full liability for resale
  • Indemnify Company for claims arising from resale

11. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in San Diego County, California.

13. MODIFICATION

Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued purchase after modifications constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Purchaser and Company regarding products and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have:

  1. Read and understood all safety warnings
  2. Read and agreed to all Terms of Sale
  3. Accepted all risks associated with product use
  4. Agreed to use products safely and as intended
  5. Agreed to keep products away from minors
